Ken was born and raised in Atco, New Jersey. He attended Edgewood Regional Senior High and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. After attending Wagner College, where he majored in Business Administration, he had a nine year professional baseball career playing for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers organizations. During his playing days he was a five time all-star and won a gold glove. While playing for the Double AA Bowie Baysox in 1994 for the Baltimore Orioles organization, he moved to Maryland where he met his wife. He started acting during the off-season in 1996 because baseball didn’t seem hard enough. One of his first acting jobs was on the Baltimore based television classic, Homicide. It was just extra work, but Ken loved the craft and the business and he started to branch out. He started attending auditions in New York and even went to LA to see what it was all about. Since his early days he has gone on to have principal roles in some classic television shows like The Wire, Law and Order and House of Cards. He has also been in some major motion pictures, one being, Men in Black 3, where he portrayed legendary astronaut, Buzz Aldrin. Ken has been in hundreds of productions over the years including theater, television, films, commercials and more.
He has produced, written and directed award winning indie films. The first was the indie hit horror comedy, The Night Watchmen, which has been distributed world wide after an incredible film festival run screening in forty festivals and winning twenty five awards including a best actor award for Ken. The second, A Comedy of Horrors Volume 1, is a horror comedy anthology written, directed, produced and starring Ken. It has garnered best film at two festivals in a short festival run and is scheduled to be released in 2022. His current project that he is producing and stars in, A Town Called Purgatory, is deep into post production. Principal photography occurred in Austria early in 2021 during the pandemic. This project is a horror western sure to make a huge splash on the festival circuit in late 2022. You can check out his production page to see the trailers for films he has produced. He enjoys coaching youth level football and baseball. He is also a producer, writer, director, videographer, editor and photographer. He also runs an acting studio in the Baltimore, MD area.
He resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife Maria and their five children.
